Axe Murderer <– Video

For my final project I decided to video a chase. I added the axe to create more drama and tension. The first idea I had was to just video my friend running through the woods, and imply someone was after her. I made the video, and I didn’t like it. So I added my brother as the axe murderer, I think it helped. I did allot of shooting to get the different angles. My friend thankfully was good about doing stuff over and over.

The idea is a girl wakes up in the woods and doesn’t know how she got there. She hears a stick snap and looks to see a man with an axe. She runs away then finds homes.

I cut it at her knocking on the door because I wanted people to make up what happened. Did she get to safety? Did anyone answer the door? I think I cut that scene a bit to short, but I think it still worked.

I ended up videoing in two different places because they both worked for what I wanted. I was very grateful that my friend was willing to run in the water for the project.

I had allot of fun doing this project, even though it was cold. My actors are Jessica Higgins, and Ryan Strong.
