Hello! my name is Joe Hendrickson, I have lived here in Eugene my entire life and I don’t intend on living anywhere else. My major is multimedia but I haven’t decided which field I want to go with just yet. I love to travel and have been to such places as China, Africa, and Costa Rica. I also scuba dive and I absolutely love it. It’s so calming to be under water and to look up at the sky and the waves splashing above. At home we have a pool and its heated so in the winter Ill go sit in the deep end with my scuba gear and practice my breathing. Last summer I was having some leg pain and found out that I had a blood clot near my knee. It was just last week when I had surgery and now I’m in recovery. It will take about six weeks before I can swim or do just about anything physical. I’m really excited to be in this class and my other classes. I plan to use all the knowledge and skills and put them to use while I do my diving.

Hey Joe,
I’m sorry to hear that you had a blood clot in your leg. So that explains the crutches. I was wondering if the doctors knew what caused it? I thought there might be a connection with diving.
I love your pictures you posted on your travels! You have been to some amazing places! Just starting the media design program you will be coming in with some really awesome and unique pictures!

Joe, it’s wonderful that you have experiences with travel…I’m sure those adventures will show through some of your work. Great that you are a scuba diver too! You should checkout a GoPro with the waterproof case so you can shoot some great footage underwater! Great pictures and I like how they are placed in your post. Be observant of the assignment criteria, as your post is short in content.
