Last Transmission

For this assignment I chose to create my own short script for a sci-fi transmission released from a ship and the last of the possible crew members still alive. I gathered a bunch of samples from creative commons and then edited them In Audition. Some of the samples will probably sound familiar other than the scripted voice which I recorded myself. I acted out the character including an accent, for hearing my own voice sounds weird and takes me out of the scene I’m trying to create.

The Transmission was sent from a ship coming back from an excavation site on some planet. Something happened to the crew at the excavation after digging up some sort of artifacts or remains. The ship picks up the artifacts, leaving behind everything else at the site. The members of the ship soon found out that something is aboard the ship…
