She believes keep doing what want to do, and efforts will be rewarded. My favorite quote she said was, “Not every experience is gonna be a ‘wow,’ but it might open up the doors to something else.”

After digging through animators and character designers, I ended up choosing Wayne Unten for my RTN report. I related to him a lot, as I also switched to animation from graphic design and have had anxiety about “will I ever find a career in this field?” Unten is a character animator for Disney and talks about how happy it makes him seeing people relate to the characters he’s animated.

Welp, I’ve chosen my favorite, and the award goes to Mister Walter Murch, a sound designer and film editor. He’s done work on The Godfather, House of Cards, American Graffiti, and even used Final Cut Pro to edit Cold Mountain in 2003. He’s kind of a big deal. He talks a lot about his childhood and how he knew he wanted to be a filmmaker, but got sidetracked. He figured out what made him happy at eleven, and pursued that. And honestly, I’d say that was a smart move. One I can resonate with since it’s the same as mine.
