I chose to do my Report on Valerie Weiss’s story.

At first she thought she wanted to be an actress because of the idea that she would get to experience all types of careers in one lifetime.

Then, in high school she discovered her love for Biology.

Although she loved both passions, she knew Filmmaking was the right career for her because of her ability to tell any story.

And even though she had made up her mind she still stayed in school to get her Ph.D. in biophysics and biochemistry so she would never regret choosing one over the other.

She recently released her first film called ‘Losing Control’ which is about a young female scientist. Shooting this film made her feel like she had finally combined her two passions.
