This is Beth McCarthy Miller, she is a TV Director. Beth began as an intern for MTV after college. Miller worked very long hours in her position and really didn’t know what she wanted to do career wise. During her internship a couple Directors from MTV sat her down and told her that she should be a Director, so she ran with it. Beth later went on to direct the “MTV music awards”, “Saturday Night Live” as well as “30 Rock”. What I admired about Beth is that she had no clue what she wanted to do with her career, but her hard work led her to a position she excelled at. Beth believes that every working experience whether it seems bad is actually good and a lesson to be learned for the future.
