This Eerie, Mysterious Tale was made with a Lowkey Lighting feel in mind. The music is slow, calm, and combined with the visuals brings a creepy feeling to it.
As I worked on this project I shifted my intentions several times, and ended up going down a visual feeling I’ve experienced while watching video projects like Marble Hornets. Moments where you don’t know what’s going on, where things happen that shouldn’t normally within the real world, and a story that leaves you with lots of questions at the end.
Honestly, while I did like working on this project I didn’t have any solid ideas going into it, aside from the shot of the figure reaching away from the camera. Most everything else came to me as I was working on it and I was struggling to figure out the next segment and make it to a minute’s time.
In the end I hope I can take this and refine it into its own creepy story that others can enjoy.
