Margarita Barry is a graphic designer from Detroit, Michigan, and the founder of a pop-up shop called 71 Pop. The shop serves as a place where a rotating selection of local artists can come together to display and sell their work. She founded her business after being laid off from a previous job, one which she was not passionate about. She went to college to study graphic design and journalism, but had yet to find a career that satisfied her. After being laid off, she started a Kickstarter, which won a competition and raised $8,000, this was the starting point for 71 Pop. Margarita is also a big proponent of helping others, which is why she started a business that’s all about helping artists distribute their work.
The screenshot I took “exceeded maximum upload size” despite how many times I resized it, but you can find her if you Google her.
