Here we have the Equipment checkout counter at building 17 where they supply the finest of supplies for a limited time…
Next, we have the “Blue Wall” (also in building 17) where all of your strangest dreams can become a reality, if only on the blue screen.
The Center for Student Engagement, at it’s finest.
Ah, the main art gallery. Or so I was told. There was also one behind me in a glass room, but they assured me this was the right one. If not, I was mislead and plead innocence.
Then there’s the Art-o-Mat. A vintage cigarette dispenser, now dishing out hearty servings of artist thumb nails in the place of nicotine.
[Disclaimer: Art thumbnails. Not their literal finger nails]
Here, e have the clearly indicated Reference desk in the library. Easy to miss, until you go to leave the library. I learned this via experience.
Here we have the large silver sculpture in front of the Health Building. I decided to go for a shot from within inside aimed up. Quite nice. A little rainy.
Mary Jo Kreindel’s lab, in all it’s glory (She asked not to have her photo taken, so I had to take a step back).
Here we have the Media Creation Lab, tucked away ever so sneakily just on the left when you enter the library.
Judy Gate’s office. I was sent back and forth 3 times from building 17 and building 11 looking for this…
This was new to me: The Indy Lab. Quite a happening spot for cool cats and the like.
A picture of the flags in building 1. I had to focus on Canada (being my heritage, after all).
Canada.
Land of hockey, maple syrup, apologizing and snow. Birthplace of William Shatner.
Last, but not least, a Turkey. Quite plentiful around campus and not shy in the slightest. I named this one Craig. I have no idea if Craig is a boy turkey or a girl turkey, so I am under the assumption that Craig’s non-confrontational nature concerning my naming of him/her is due to his/her open mindedness to gender neutrality concerning names. I’m a dude named “Loren”, after all. I have no room to judge. Craig and I are getting scones this Friday.
I really like your silver sculpture pic.
