DESCRIPTION:
This is a hybrid course and will include in-class, online, and open practicing labs portions.
This intense hybrid course combines both online and in person medical practices into a 5 week State of Oregon Intermediate training program. Meeting once a week online, one day a week in person for hands-on education, practical skills, scenarios, and full-scale mock rescues, and clinical rotations with direct patient contact, you will be ready to handle medical emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course you will be eligible to take practical and written examinations to obtain the Oregon State EMT Intermediate License.

REQUIREMENTS:
You must have an Oregon AEMT license to attend the EMTI training.
Immunization & Compliance Requirements: As students in a Healthcare field there are some CDC and Oregon Health Authority requirements. Please start collecting your immunization records. You will get details on the tracking system at your orientation.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider: Only the AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider card is accepted. We are offering CPR training for those who do not already have it. Details on our CPR training is available here: Lane EMS CPR

You must have an Oregon AEMT license to attend the EMTI training.
This course is designed for those who already have an Oregon AEMT license and are looking to step up to an Oregon EMT Intermediate license.
