The EasyWPGuide v4.6 was just released.
Here’s what the author has to say, but hype aside, it’s a well written, easy to follow WordPress manual that covers all the basics. The file lives in my Dropbox. Clicking the link will open the PDF so you can read it there, or you can use the Download link at the top right of the screen to take it with you.
A simple, easy to read WordPress Manual
You won’t find any talk of HTML, PHP or creating WP Themes here. What you will find is a simple, easy to read WordPress manual that will guide you through the process of editing your site content.
You can download the manual here.
As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Recently, when I’m in Dashboard, the left side menu does odd things when you scroll. Specifically, text links will move around and stack on top of each other. Not really a big deal, but pretty annoying when you’re trying to write posts, or edit pages, right?
It looks like it’s a known issue with Google Chrome v45. Luckily, there’s an easy fix.
- Go to chrome://flags/#disable-slimming-paint (Just copy/paste it into Chrome’s address bar.)
- Enable the “Disable slimming paint” option. (Should be the top entry on the page that comes up. See image below.)
- Enable the “Enable slimming paint” option. (Should be the second entry on the page that comes up. See image below.)
- Relaunch Chrome. (Using the big button at the bottom of the page.)
Once you relaunch Chrome, it should look right again.
