Timesheets due Monday, 2/28

Please enter your hours worked 2/16-2/28 in ExpressLane.

Make sure the total number of hours in ExpressLane is the same as the total number of hours on your written timesheet.

PTA Exams…

The PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) students will be taking an Exam for GORES today (Wed, 2/22) for PTA 103–one 3 x 5 notecard is allowed
Tomorrow (Thurs, 2/23) they will be taking and exam for WILKINSON–PTA 132–no notecard allowed, but give students a sheet of blank scratch paper.

Please remember to try to seat these students as far to the back of the computer testing room as possible and offer them earplugs. They are taking timed exams and they may need all of their time allotted.

Lost card…

Someone found a dining card on Monday in the lab…let me know if anyone comes looking for a dining card…

Written lecture exam make-ups for SALT

There are a few make-up exams that are WRITTEN for SALT’s SOC 205 lecture class in the 2nd file drawer.

The test is on computer, but it looks like he is doing written make-up exams…

Lost & Found items…

If you find an ID card, glasses, meal card, or whatever in the lab, please send me an Email when and where you found the item and if you know who it might belong to.

Someone had called Monday about a pair of glasses he thought he’d left in the lab Saturday and I found them yesterday in the bottom file drawer with a post-it attached–YAY! That’s a good place to stash lost and found items, but let me know so I know to look there when people call…

Thanks!

SATURDAY STAFF….

FYI:

ESCOBAR’s HST 209 Exam is 77 multiple choice, (there are about 90 total questions–some questions have multiple parts.)
If students start the exam after Noon, then they may not be able to finish…

There have been a few students who have completed the exam in as little as a half hour. Looks like half the class has already taken the exam though…

GRAY’s CS120 exam is 50 multiple choice

RAZA’s SOC 206 Midterm is 40 multiple choice.

MARTINEZ’s ECON 200 Exam #3 is 30 multiple choice. Remember, there is a 30 minute delay between when they submit the 1st attempt and when they can take the 2nd attempt and please sign them in for both attempts 😉

My cell number is: 518-653-2005 –– You cannot get through to this number unless I have it turned on, so this is never a number to call unless I leave it for you, like for today.

Hope it is not too crazy today!!!

Timesheets are due…

Tuesday the 15th at NOON–please include all your hrs worked/to be worked through the 15th, even if you are scheduled after NOON that day–you should enter all hours from 2/1-2/15.

Make sure the total number of hours on the written timesheet match what is in ExpressLane.

Thanks!!

FINALS WEEK SCHEDULES…

I’m putting FINALS WEEK SCHEDULES in your boxes. For those of you who have given me your schedule for the term, I was able to put in your Final Exam times–please verify that these are correct–I know sometimes Instructors change the times/days and sometimes for PE classes, etc. there is no Final.

If you could let me know what your availability will be for FINALS WEEK soon–like by mid next week, that will enable me to start getting that schedule together. Please indicate on your schedule if you will be available to open at 8am or close at 8pm–see hours listed below…

FYI–FINALS WEEK we are open: MON-WED. 8am-8pm; THURS: 8am-5pm (but I will schedule 2 people tentatively till 7pm). Friday we are not officially open, but some students will be taking make-ups from 9am-Noon, and I generally schedule 2 people from 9-Noon or 9am-1pm and we clean the lab–fun times!!!

Thanks!

Another note on SMITH’s Political Science Tests…

PLEASE TELL STUDENTS THEY MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS–the Instructor just told me that students need to read them prior to starting their exam.

Clint SMITH’s Political Science Exams…

Clint SMITH will be having his students from 3 of his political science classes taking their exams in the lab–PS 202, PS 205 and PS 208.

Foturnately, students do not need to use scantrons for these exams, but if a student is not sure which course s/he is enrolled in, then please have that student print their schedule and look it up using the CRN #.

Ask me if you don’t know how to do this.

Thanks!
