“How Do Students Succeed?”

Merrill Watrous teaches ED 200, 201, and 280 seminars in The Foundations of Education at Lane Community College. She places students as interns in exemplary K-12 classrooms across Lane County.

Merrill has been in digital storytelling mentorship with Sandy Brown Jensen and has also trained at The Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley, CA.

This digital story, “How Students Succeed” was created to show her students how to create a digital story based on a book they thought was important. It focuses on the inspirational work of Paul Tough and character education.
