PTK Spring Scholarships Now Open!

“We know students need funds for their education now more than ever! In the shadow of this unprecedented and challenging public health situation, we want to share some good news with you and your members! The 2020-2021 PTK Scholarship Application is open and will award nearly $300,000 in scholarship funds to PTK members this spring!
Through one scholarship application, students may be considered for:
Ø Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship
Ø GEICO Pathway to Completion Associate Degree Scholarship
Ø Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Certification Scholarship
Ø Oberndorf Lifeline to Completion Scholarship
Ø Ronny J. Coleman Fire and Emergency Services Leader of the Future Scholarship
Ø Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship
Students enrolled in Fire Science, Fire Prevention, Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Fire and Emergency Services Administration, Community Risk Reduction, Fire Engineering, Public Safety Education, Pharmacy Tech, Public Safety Administration, Emergency Management and Criminal Justice will find that we have programs especially for those majors.
The application close date is a month away, and we hope your students will take advantage of these great scholarship opportunities. For complete details, including eligibility criteria, students should visit the links included above. The application can be accessed here and must be completed and submitted by May 15, 2020, at 5:00 pm, Central Time.
We would like to make it easier for students to complete the application so we have created placeholders that we can provide (upon request) to allow students to complete the Upload section of the application. These placeholders include one for a letter of recommendation, one for the transcript and one for the citizenship documentation.
