How are employees supported, or not supported to participate and contribute meaningfully in the governance process? Please elaborate.

    From Spring Conference:

    The lack of encouragement for part time to participate (administration and union)

    There needs to be a greater diversity of participation from across the college

    Genuine participation without fear. Remove the expectation that they are not representing anyone but themselves.

    Need structured administrative support for everything from note-taking to communications to planning and policy creation

    What is the sustainable leadership model within the councils?
    Part-time employees are not supported to contribute to councils/participate in councils: Reflects a strategic disinvestment in including part-time staff
    Faculty and staff are not being asked/invited to participate.
