Collectively set priorities. Consensus governance. Cut only upper management not low-wage workers. Have decentralized system- need fewer administrators= more $ for the people who actually help students.

Able to participate from satellite campuses by video conference and online. Meetings held by Blackboard Connect or a free service such as Google handout -> eliminate overhead cost for facilities, food & increase access.
Open and respectful dialog
Unions and administration should appoint members, but by knowledge and skill, and only one council per individual.

And, there should be effort to include non-union members.
Representation from front line people who are content experts related to scope of decision being made.
Governance should not be conflated with labor relations or union negotiations.
The unions should NOT formally be part of governance. The contract is the province of unions, not governance.
True, but it can be more effective to include union reps as stakeholders.
Community appointments. Elected positions. I think faculty and classified should elect the administration.
