DESCRIPTION:

This is a hybrid course and will include in-class, online, and open practicing labs portions.

This intensive course combines wilderness medicine with urban medical care practices at the level of a first responder. After eleven intensive days, you will be ready to handle medical emergencies, in the wilderness or right in town. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions. Come prepared for wet, muddy, cold or hot environments. Class includes CPR certification, as well.
