Sign up for a Campus Tour

Campus tours are a great way to determine if Lane is a good fit for students. Tours are led by student ambassadors. Students must contact the Office of Admissions at (541) 463-5678 or admissions@lanecc.edu to schedule a tour.

However, if you are bringing a group to campus you must contact Rosa Maria at (541) 463-5688 or banuelos-uriber@lanecc.edu to schedule a visit. Lane offers campus tours Monday-Friday at 9am, 11am and 1pm September-June.

Lane Preview Days

Held Summer, Fall and Spring. The three-hour Preview Days are designed for prospective students interested in learning more about Lane’s transfer and career & technical programs. Participants will sit in for a general information session, receive specific program information and take a tour of campus. For more information check out:

https://www.lanecc.edu/admissions/preview-day (You must register in advance)

Placement Testing

Students should enter SAT, ACT or Smarter Balanced math scores into the Math Placement Survey to find out if they are waived from the ALEKS testing requirement. To find out if students can be waived from the writing/reading placement tests. See the Writing Placement Options worksheet on the Testing Office’s website.

Scholarships

Lane’s Foundation Scholarship application will require the my.lanecc.edu email address. Students must apply to Lane and activate their email in their myLane before the middle of February. This should leave enough time for Lane to process their application and notify them on how to get their email address.

HS seniors can take the free course RTEC 101 – Gateway to College and Careers to learn about Lane, our programs, our resources, and get their advising and financial aid questions answered. 4-day and once a week for 5 weeks sessionsare available starting in January. No pre-registration is required! Students should reserve their spot at https://www.lanecc.edu/rtec/rtec-101.

Career Pathways

What are Career Pathways? A Career Pathway is a series of connected education and training programs and student support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in a demand industry or occupation. Career Pathways focus on easing and facilitating student transition from high school to community college; from pre-college courses to credit postsecondary programs; and from community college to university or employment.

Check out their Career Pathways page.
